"Has anyone tried using canned Oxygen before? I have recently been using some canned oxygen supplied by Booost during workouts lately and despite being very skeptical at first have been very impressed with the results!
I could see how the product would be beneficial to endurance athletes where Oxygen delivery to the cells is clearly a limiting factor in performance however, was unsure as to its benefits during an intense weights session. But I have noticed an increase in recovery between my heaviest sets by taking a few shots in between.
I admit that carrying a can of Oxygen around the gym along with your water and towel may not be the most convenient thing to do and therefore, I decided to just use it when I feel I really need it. How often do you feel out of breath after a heavy set of squats, deadlifts or barbell rows etc? These heavier lifts are a real strain on our energy supplies and anything that helps recover quicker and allow you to squeeze out that extra rep on your next set is definitely worth it!
I am now using this on all my back and leg workouts, it isn't going to revolutionise the way you train, but when you are serious about improvement you know how much every rep on your heaviest set counts! Anything that gives you that edge and push out an extra rep or two is definitely worth it in my opinion!
